“Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.” – Jennifer Lee
Janelle completed a surrogacy journey in 2021, carrying a baby girl that would complete a family in Colorado. Having seen close friends and family members face infertility while she was growing up, Janelle decided early in life that she would be a surrogate. Although she wears many hats in her family and her community, her favorite role is being a mother. As a part of the BFF marketing team, Janelle loves spreading knowledge about surrogacy and the various ways to build a family. One of her favorite parts of the job is educating others about the surrogacy process and hearing inspirational stories and experiences from surrogates and intended parents.
Janelle had this to say about the Bright Futures Families team: “I love working with such a professional, compassionate, and fun team that knows how to leverage each other’s strengths to provide the best quality of services for intended parents and surrogates. You can tell how much everyone cares about not only the outcome, but about each individual we work with, whether they’re an intended parent, surrogate, or a colleague. What we accomplish together is so meaningful.”
Family: She currently resides in Southern Colorado with her “girl squad” of three daughters.
Interesting Tidbit: She lived in Mexico for a year as a teenager to learn Spanish.
